-a gameboy printer and gameboy camera $11 for both plus the cable
-a dreamcast conroller and memory card (the seller didn't notice it was in the controller) $5
-A book called "Jesus touches people" 25 cents
-An airport security metal detector wand (worked, but i didn't buy it)
all in all it was a pretty good day. lots of cool stuff and things. tomorrow i will continue to update as usual.

Quick Update
Ugh, it's way too early to be doing this. I'm getting ready to head to the swap meet to do some irl adventuring. I'll be reporting back with findings later today. Wish me luck!
EDIT: I just got home from the swap meet. I have to clean a few things up and do something with one of them, pics will be up either tonight or tomorrow. Make sure to check back!

Bootleg Action Figures
Tired of buying legitimate toys with not enough engrish, lead paint, or questionable design choices? Well this is your lucky day. Just like bootleg movies, bootleg toys are also produced illegally and are bad quality copies of other toys (or sometimes strange works of art all their own). You can commonly find these at swap meets and dollar stores across the country.
The website I'm featuring today is a blog devoted entirely to the strange bootleg toy findings of one guy. Sadly it hasn't been updated in a while, but I'd definitely recommend raiding the archives. There's a lot of funny stuff and interesting findings. And as a bonus to this blog, I'll be making a trip to my local swap meet tomorrow to see what I can find. I'll take pics of interesting bootlegs, or just other random stuff I stumble across. Of course this means I can't update until later in the afternoon, so be sure to check back later tomorrow!

Sites to Explore
Between work and school, I don't always have a lot of time to be searching for cool sites. So next time you stumble across something interesting feel free to send it to me at dianapidgey@yahoo.com . If I like what I see, I may feature it in my next blog post. Be sure to include your name and blog url (if applicable) so I can credit you in the post. Happy hunting!
The Wheel of Lunch
Don't know what to have for lunch? Do you ever wish that someone could just... choose for you? WELL WISH NO LONGER. 'Cause here comes the Wheel of Lunch.
It's easy to use too! Just plug in your zip code (or a nearby zip code if your city is rather large, like mine) and spin the wheel! Don't like the place it chose? Then why are you asking a computer what you should have for lunch? (Just kidding, you can always grab the wheel and spin it again.) And it's not only for lunch. Are you indecisive at breakfast and dinner too? Then just change the query to breakfast, or dinner! Then get some professional help, because being that indecisive can't be healthy.

Chiptune Music
So today I found this website called The 8-bit Collective. If you don't know what chiptune music is, it's music made with old gameboy and NES sounds. Some of these people get pretty damn creative with it too.
Some of the coolest stuff I've found so far are some 8-bit dupstep and chipstep tracks. It's totally worth a visit if you've never heard of it and are looking for some new music to listen to.
